Introduction. In the Central Register of Nature Conservation Forms, there are 112 natural monuments in the area of seven communes of the Dzierżoniów district, including 104 individual trees and eight groups. The aim of the study was to verify their dimensions, health condition and confirmation, that all the magnificent trees still exist.

Material and methods. The research was carried out in the Dzierżoniów district in the growing season of 2017. Circumferences, tree heights, crown diameters were measured and their health condition were specified. The location (GPS) of the trees was established and for trees that need it, appropriate care treatments were indicated.

Results. 162 monumental trees belonging to 18 species, representing 12 families were inventoried. They were both foreign (10) and domestic species (8). Quercus robur (48 trees) had the largest participation among the native species, and Aesculus hippocastanum (29 trees) with the introduced ones. Measured trees had circumferences from 78 to 648 cm and their heights ranged from 5 to 41 m.

Conclusions. The majority of 102 trees are in very good or good health condition. Some of them require professional care treatments. Monumental trees usually grow along roads (in alleys) and on private properties.
