THE IMPACT OF THE FOREST HABITAT ON THE COSTS OF EARLY AND LATE CLEANING
Abstract
The paper presents the impact of habitat quality on the unit costs of early and late cleaning. Source materials from the area of the RDSF in Szczecin for the years 2015-2019 were used for the study. 9 forest site types were taken into account. As a result of the analysis, it was found that in the case of early and late cleaning, the type of forest site was a factor that significantly differentiated the average cost of these treatments. The highest unit costs were found in the fresh forest habitat, while the lowest costs were reported in the coniferous forest habitats, with the lowest costs recorded in the fresh coniferous forest (early cleaning) and in the wet mixed coniferous forest habitat (late cleaning).
