The organizational structure of PGL LP compared to other public forests administration organizations

Abstract

The organizational structure plays an important role in shaping the desired functioning of the enterprise. The article presents the identification of organizational structures of public forest service in selected European countries. The organizational structure of PGL LP was also assessed in light of solutions adopted by foreign units. The results of the research indicated possible directions of development of the organizational structure of PGL LP in the context of the potential granting of legal personality and corporate structure to this entity. It was proposed to increase the role of regional directorates of state forests as almost independent divisions, supervised by a central unit - the General Directorate of the State Forests.
